چکیده
The aim of the study was to determine influence habitat, cultivar and developmental growth stage on catalase activity in soil under two amaranth cultivars – Rawa (Amaranthus cruentus L.) Aztek hypochondriacus × Amaranthus hybridus L.). In a 3-year field experiment (2013–2015), amaranth’s plants were grown wide-row spacing good wheat complex south-eastern Poland (50°71'N, 23°04'E). included 4 variable factors: weather conditions; selected stages (5-leaf, full flowering seed maturity stages); NPK dose combinations (I: 40 kg N ∙ ha–1, 30 P K ha–1; II: 60 III: 80 50 IV: 120 70 ha–1) (‘Rawa’ ‘Aztek’). No pesticides are applied cultivation due absence pathogens pests this plant Poland. Plant protection limited reducing weed infestation twice. conducted research showed that conditions main factor affecting cultivation, followed by other factors, such as fertilization, stage. All analyzed factors proved exert significant impact organic matter content soil, while only fertilization had effect sorption capacity. Moreover, it found cv. positively influenced humus accumulation comparison Rawa. beneficial environment its enzymatic ascribed lack introduced pesticides.

Sterilized soils are commonly used for the study of xenobiotic sorption and as an abiotic control in biodegradation experiments. They are also used for the chemical study of nitrogen and carbon cycle processes and the elimination of the biological factors. In this research the effects of different soil sterilization methods such as autoclaving, fumigating and exposure to ultraviolet and microwa...
متن کاملCrossing Methods and Cultivation Conditions for Rapid Production of Segregating Populations in Three Grain Amaranth Species
Grain amaranths (Amaranthus spp.) have been cultivated for thousands of years in Central and South America. Their grains are of high nutritional value, but the low yield needs to be increased by selection of superior genotypes from genetically diverse breeding populations. Amaranths are adapted to harsh conditions and can be cultivated on marginal lands although little is known about their phys...

Salt stress is one of the major factors limiting crop productivity worldwide. Grain amaranth is new crop with high yield potential and good nutrition value which can be a good substitute for salt-sensitive crops in saline areas. This research was conducted to evaluate different level of salinity and applied salinity stress at several growth stages on some morphological and physiological traits ...
متن کاملAnalysis of Microbial Diversity in Soil under Ginger Cultivation
Ginger is a perennial monocotyledonous herb, which can be used as both a vegetable and a medicinal plant. However, it is susceptible to various plant pathogens. Microbial diversity in soil is related closely to the health and productivity of plant crops including ginger. In the current study, we compared microbial diversity from soil samples under ginger cultivation (disease incidence of >50% [...
